Why should I compromise?
I compromised with almost everything.
When I was a child-
I thought, I will grow up
And will make my own decisions;
But compromises increase along with me!
When the time came,
To decide about my higher studies
I compromised with my parents,
Influenced by the environment and situation.
The moment I realized I am in love,
A dam of compromises collapsed and ruined my love by the high flow.
I went for my first interview,
I compromised my policies, principles
And even values to get a job.
Now, they asked me to compromise
My life to meet their target!
Why should I???
I may not have money, fame and prestige
But I have one and only life,
To live or to fail;
May I have the privilege to live that life,
In my own way?
